Coffeyville -
Beulah S. Henson, 95, lifelong Coffeyville resident, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Medicalodge of Coffeyville.
She was born October 5, 1914 in Coffeyville to George Elmo and Letha J. (Dabbs) Henson. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1933.
Beulah was a cashier at Newberry’s in Coffeyville for 25 years and later was a nurse’s aide at Golden Age Lodge now known as Medicalodge of Coffeyville for over 18 years until retiring.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Coffeyville and enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include two cousins, Mary Schlecht and Carol Gordon both of Coffeyville.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Elmwood Cemetery in Coffeyville with Pastor Clay Bramble of the First Christian Church officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
