John C. VanCleave, age 50, formerly of Coffeyville, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Oswego Nursing and Rehab Center following a long illness.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, August 9, at the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, KS, under the direction of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home, Coffeyville, KS.
Mr. VanCleave was born August 20, 1959 in Coffeyville, to John R. and Violet (Timmerman) VanCleave.
He was raised, attended school and worked in Coffeyville most of his life.
Survivors include: Six sisters; Carolyn Martin, Livermore, CA.Debbie Tesh, Emporia, KS. Vickie Hargis, Coffeyville, KS. Janet Kidd, Oklahoma. Susan Henry, South Coffeyville, OK. And Jennifer Farley, Michigan. One brother, J.R. VanCleave, Wichita, KS. Many cousins, nieces and nephews.

i only knew jonny c a short time but he was one of my friends and he will be missed he was a very caring man if he liked you if he didnt look out!! GOD bless the family!!
Sorry to hear of your brother’s passing, Deb. I lost my older brother two years ago this month. My heart goes out to you and your family. God bless.
