Coffeyville -

Chris W. Dale, 43, of Coffeyville, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at his home in Coffeyville after a long battle with kidney disease.

He was born June 16, 1968 at Baxter Springs, KS to James “Mike” and Barbara (Davis) Dale.  Chris graduated from Riverton High School in 1986 and graduated from Job Corp in 1988.

On February 15, 1997 he married Jenny Allison in Coffeyville, KS.  Following their marriage they made their home in Coffeyville where Chris was employed at Watco and later at A.I.W. until retiring due to his health.

Chris enjoyed spending time with his daughters at their sporting events and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Jenny of the home; two daughters, Shianne Dale and Christen Dale both of the home; two sons, Rex of Dexter, MO, and Jacob of Independence; his parents, James “Mike and Barbara Dale of Coffeyville; two brothers, Billy Dale and wife Cindy of Coffeyville; and Jimmy Dale of Coffeyville; one sister, Jenger Clark of Baxter Springs, KS; special family member, Steve Blazer of Oak Grove, AR; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Central Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jimmy Harrington of Ridin’ for the Brand Cowboy Church in Wann, OK officiating.  Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville.

Friends may sign the register book on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a fund being established for his daughters; contributions may be left with the funeral home or mailed; David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. It is never easy but he is not suffering any longer. May God be with you and your family during this time of sorrow. Know that we are here and would love to help if we can.

We are so sorry Jenny,Barb and Mike,Chris was a fine young man& will be missed by all that knew him,they say the Lord wants only the best& Chris was one of them. but we will always miss& love him, It hurts sooo bad to loose one tho, God be with this family & give them strength to get thru this Amen
