Charlotte Koester, 73, of Coffeyville passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.\n\nShe was born on November 16, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas to Lawrence C. and Gladys (DeShazo) Butcher. Charlotte grew up and attended school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma graduating from Bartlesville High School. She lived in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, before moving to Independence, Kansas in 2000, and finally settling in Coffeyville. \n\nCharlotte enjoyed volunteering at Genesis, where she was an active volunteer for many years. She loved helping others.\n\nCharlotte is survived by her daughters, Charmin Danaie Rogers; her siblings, Sarah Butterfield, Marty Wood, Ed Butcher, and Allen Butcher; and her beloved grandchildren, Tyler William Bell and Tracy Danaie Carden and her great-grandson, Ethan Winckler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Gladys Butcher.\n\nFollowing Charlotte's wishes cremation has taken place under the direction of David W.
