Christopher Scott Temple, age 46, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. \n\n\nChris was born on April 1, 1975 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Floyd "Joe" Temple and Carolyn Sue (Gowen) Temple. He grew up in Coffeyville where he attended local schools and graduated from Field Kindley High School in 1993. \n\n\nChris worked as a carpenter and welder doing construction work. In 2010 he moved to Rockport, Texas where he resided until about six months ago when he returned to Coffeyville. He was a member of the Plumber and Pipefitters Union. \n\n\nChris loved to surround himself with his family and friends. He was the type of person you could count on no matter what and would give you the shirt right off his back if you needed it. He enjoyed working on cars, having bbq's, going fishing and playing horseshoes just to mention a few things. \n\n\nSurviving to cherish his memory is his son, Tanner Eugene Sandusky of Wichita, Kansas; daughter, Mia Carolyn Temple of Rockport, Texas; mother, Carolyn Temple of Coffeyville, Kansas; brother, Joseph Alan "Joe" Temple of Rockport, Texas; sister, Staci Dee Temple of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Joseph "Joe" Temple on Oct 22, 2020. \n\nFuneral Services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Coffeyville. \n\n\nVisitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at David W Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville from noon until 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends on Friday evening at the funeral home from 6pm-8pm. \n\n\nMemorials in memory of Chris may be left with or mailed in care of David W.
