Donna Sue (Johnson) Starnes, 64, of Coffeyville passed away Monday, October 15, 2018 at Medicalodge of Coffeyville.\n\nShe was born on October 8, 1954 at Hampton, VA to Jimmy L. and Barbara (Colley) Johnson. Donna grew up and received her education in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School in 1972.\n\nDonna was employed by U.S.D. #445 for over 30 years and Coffeyville Recreation Commission for over 27 years. She loved working with the children and visiting with people while working the concession stand at Coffeyville Recreation ball games and recently the concession stand at Little League was renamed in her honor. \n\nDonna was an avid sports fan, especially the Golden State Worriers, Golden Tornado and Red Ravens.\n\nSurvivors include her son, Casey Starnes of Springfield, MO; her daughter, Jaime Grant and husband Mario of Coffeyville; her mother, Barbara Johnson of Coffeyville; her sister, Vickie Males and husband, Don of Coffeyville; grandson, Sevan Grant; nephew, Craig Males and wife, Tamara of Coffeyville; niece, Kara Males of Coffeyville; one great niece and three great-nephews.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Johnson.\n\nThe family will celebrate Donna's life at a gathering of family and friends at the Coffeyville Recreation Center on Saturday November 3rd from 4:00pm - 7:00pm.
