Richard Friddle

Richard Friddle, age 62, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

Richard was born on November 16, 1960, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Delbert and Lavern "Joy" (King) Friddle. He grew up around Wann and Noxie, Oklahoma and attended school in Wann.

On January 1, 1980, he was united in marriage to his one true love Julie Loftin in Nowata, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Coffeyville. Richard worked as a flight mechanic for Cessna Aircraft in Montgomery County, Kansas.

His hobbies included playing his banjo, hunting, fishing, trapping, taxidermy and wood crafting. Richard loved being outdoors and was known as a jack-of-all-trades.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Julie Friddle of the home; daughters, Holly Bozman and husband, Shane of Texas, Amber Dickens and husband, Timothy of Independence, Kansas; grandchildren, Trinity, Wyatt, Dawson and Dakota Bozman and Hailey Garner; sister, Belinda Neal and brother, Troy Friddle both of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. He also had many nieces and one nephew. Richard had many friends throughout his life, he never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his long-time best friend, Larry Mason.

Following Richards wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville. No public services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
