Ronnie Scarborough

Ronnie Eugene Scarborough, 65, of Coffeyville, KS passed away on February 13, 2023, at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 23, 1957, in Coffeyville to Earl and Odessa Scarborough. Ronnie grew up in Lenapah, OK where he graduated in 1976 from Lenapah High School.

Ronnie married Rosalind (Green) Scarborough in 1980, they later divorced. He was married to Laura (Williams) Scarborough until her untimely death. For the last 13 years, he has been a relationship with Ethel Stewart.

Ronnie was very skilled in various trades working construction and industrial jobs including the City of Coffeyville and Bay Ltd. until becoming disabled.

When his health permitted, he wound attend Sunday morning service at Sardis First Missionary Baptist Church. Ronnie loved fishing, horseback riding, playing Dominos and Tonk, also spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children Reginald Matthews of Midland, TX, Heather Barmore and Anastasia Brown of Coffeyville, and Jordan King of Wann, OK, his siblings Carlos Walker of Coffeyville, Sandra Irving of Houston, TX, Glenda Smith of Wichita, KS and Earl Scarborough of Las Vegas, NV, and, and his companion Ethel Stewart of the home. His grandchildren Jordan, Jeremiah, Jonovan, Carrington, Alexandreah, Jukobe, Taraji, Skylar, and Isaac Jr.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Brenda, Rolanda, Carmela, and Sylvester.

Ronnie’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at the Veterans Memorial Patio in Fairview Cemetery, Coffeyville

Cremation has taken place under the direction of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
