Mrs. Owen was a member of the First Baptist Church, V.F.W. Auxiliary, former member of the Longfellow School PTA, and former Cub Scout Leader. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, crocheting, and day trips to the casino but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Owen and wife, Julie of Coffeyville, Bobby Owen and wife, Therese of Harrisonville, Missouri; two daughters, Pamela McCullough of Edna, and Lyndia Letterman and husband Travis of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren, Sarah Owen, Michael Owen, Christopher McCullough, Keith McCullough, Amanda Meier, Claude Owen Shaun Owen and Traven Letterman; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, at the Fairview Cemetery Veterans Memorial Patio with Chaplain Keith Springer of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
