Jerold Ray "Jerry" Raasch, 65, of rural South Coffeyville, OK passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home.
He was born on June 26, 1953 at Coffeyville, KS to Erwin and Christine (Klindworth) Raasch. Jerry grew up in Nowata County where he attended Snow Creek School, graduated from Lenapah High School in Lenapah, OK, and graduated from Coffeyville Community College.
Jerry was a farmer and rancher in Nowata County for many years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one brother, Bill Raasch of rural South Coffeyville, OK; one sister, Jane Tatum and husband, Randy of rural Wann, OK; six nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Christine Raasch; and an infant sister, Susan Elizabeth Raasch.
Following Jerry's wishes cremation has taken place and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
A Memorial Service celebrating Jerry's life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Tony Fields of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating Veterans Memorial Patio. Inurnment will be Restlawn Memorial Park.
