Obituary of David E. Nissen

David Eugene Nissen, 79 of Cherryvale, Kansas formerly of Coffeyville passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Cherryvale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on June 16, 1940 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Niss C. and Alma L. (Orcutt) Nissen. His family moved to Coffeyville in 1947 where he grew up and attended school. Survivors include his longtime caregiver, Velma Pippin and her husband Jim of Coffeyville. A Graveside service will be at the Fairview Cemetery Veterans Memorial Patio in Coffeyville on Wednesday.
