Obituary of Charles Francis Wick
Charles "Charlie/Chucky" Francis Wick, 71, of Coffeyville, Kansas formerly of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, passed away Peacefully at his home surrounded by his Loving family on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
He was born on May 18, 1951, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Carl William and Rita Pauline (Markham) Wick. Charles grew up and attended school in Pittsfield where he attended Notre Dame and Tucker elementary schools and North Junior High School. Charles Later obtained his G.E.D.
Charles was married to Carol VanBramer.
He was employed by General Electric working in Pittsfield and later at Schenectady, New York From the age of 18 until retiring in 2011.
Charles attended Notre Dame Catholic Church in Pittsfield and Holy Name Catholic Church in Coffeyville. He had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, collecting scrap metal, going to auctions, going to Lebanon Valley Speedway in New Lebanon, NY, building Rabbit Hutches, and working on cars but his greatest joy was spending with his family especially his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Lee Wick Moody and Seneca Felica-Maree Wick both of Coffeyville; one sister, Marie Melle of Independence; five grandchildren, Patrick, Austyn, Juliana (Dillon Ramsey), Zoe, and Jaylee; and one great-granddaughter, Amethyst "Ame" Ramsey. Charles also leaves behind Many Nieces and Nephews that he was a very Beloved Uncle to.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Baby Carl and John Wick and two sisters, Geraldine (Gerry) Allessio, and Delia (DeeDee) Martini.
Following Charles' wishes cremation has taken place and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
